Josh Burwick
Andy Brown
Andy Brown currently serves as CEO of Sand Hill East Ventures and Street Scale IT Group, a company providing IT services associated with datacenters and cloud hosting to the financial sector and other regulated industries.
From September 2010 to October 2013, Mr. Brown served as Group Chief Technology Officer of UBS. Mr. Brown worked as head of strategy, architecture and optimization at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2008 to 2010, and from 2006 to 2008 as CTO of Infrastructure at Credit Suisse, prior to which he spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch, including roles as Chief Technology Architect, CIO of Direct Markets, head of networks, market data and email.
Beyond his role at StreetScaleIT, Mr. Brown holds a Chairman role with SnoopWall and a board director role at IT resources Service Management provider Moogsoft. He was until recently a director at ServiceMesh which sold to CSC in November 2013, and is a founder of Desktone which sold to vmWare also in November 2013. Andy holds a BSc. Honors degree in Chemical Physics from University College London.
Josh Burwick currently serves as managing partner of Sand Hill East Ventures. Josh's primary responsibilities involve strategic consulting and business development for SnoopWall, gUnify, Apozy and some undisclosed companies due to confidentiality.
From 1998-2002 Josh worked at Goldman Sachs in the technology sector for the investment research and institutional research sales departments. In 2002, Josh made the move to the buy side joining Moore Capital to help manage the core technology portfolio.
Josh holds a finance degree and minor in East Asian Studies from Lehigh University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Josh currently resides in Darien, CT with his wife Jeanne and 3 young boys Luke, Jake and Tyler.
